Crispy wonton chips accompany the warm, creamy dip with a zesty kick.  

Because wonton chips are delicate, use a spoon to ladle the dip onto them. 

You can put the dip together until it's time to bake and then chill it for up to a day. 

Bake for a few more minutes if you're using food straight from the fridge.

A simple way to check whether the oil is ready is to drop one wonton into it; 

if it sizzles, there's no need to use a thermometer.
