The Suns acquired Royce O'Neale and David Roddy as part of a three-team trade.

Keita Bates-Diop and Jordan Goodwin will be joining Brooklyn in the trade, while Yuta Watanabe and Chimezie Metu will be heading to Memphis.

In addition to the Suns' future first-round pick, the Grizzlies received a draft choice.

Getting Beal in the offseason significantly reduced Phoenix's flexibility because the team went above and beyond the newly established second apron.

That means guards Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyle Lowry, among others, aren't available as trade targets.

As a result of new regulations, the Suns will only be permitted to sign players whose salaries were lower than

the league average of $12.4 million this season, even though they will have plenty of roster places available to chase buyout players.

With all the trades the Suns have made in the past year, they are now missing a young player with potential to grow into a star.
